Now we have an upcoming video project. For my video project, I want to film my commercial for activism. I think that I am going to film myself getting up from a chair and then text rolls onto the screen along with sad music along with made up statistics. Then at the end, I will cut to an up-close video of me saying “Now how are you going to take action?”. Then the screen will cut to a black screen with more text highlighting resources for both people unaffected by Aggressive technologies and those who are affected by Aggressive Technologies. At the bottom of the entire video I will put text in white like a political campaign saying “paid for by M.P” which is Marie’s alias. So the video builds upon Marie becoming an activist while still working for A.T.

I will start filming probably over the weekend because I have a busy week ahead and I have to travel home for a little while on the only day during this week that I have to complete work, without class or work. I am looking forward to filming and have already gotten a person to help me with filming. If I have time later on this week to do some filming I will update this post here!

This sounds like a good plan. The Convergence Center has green screen facilities that might work for you, so you could insert a background image or video, or have text behind you. You could also use a voice generator to make a voice-over to complement your part.

If I were to animate the whole thing like a cartoon, would that work?

this sounds really cool. I like how it connects to your character.

  3. […] Okay, So what now? Behind the creation: For this, we had to come up with a plan. I am still workshopping but I think that I could get into animating something for this class! And we are live! Behind the creation: INTERNET, INTERNET, INTERNET, oh to have good internet. I had a great time listening to the portion of the radio show that the dorm wifi allowed me! I love how everything turned out and am looking forward to finishing this class on a high note in the coming weeks. […]
